Boreham Primary Fund Raising Committee
F@BS (Families at Boreham School) is the trading name of Boreham Primary PTA. We are a registered charity (no.1109248) with a core committee of six officers and a wider group of members who offer ideas, experience and time to raising money for the school.
In these austerity times, school budgets are tight. Fundraising supports the school by subsidising events and raising funds for bigger projects. Every year, F@BS subsidise school trips for every year group. In recent years, the previous committee raised over £17,000 to install new interactive whiteboards in every classroom, which was an amazing achievement in the current financial climate. Since April 2019, a new committee has been in place. Their first event was the Summer Fete which raised a staggering £3,000. Some of the funds have gone towards the creation of a sensory room. More recently, fundraising efforts have supported the installation of the new bio-dome. These successes were all thanks to a dedicated PTA team and an amazing community of parents who attended events and gave their time as volunteers.
Please continue to support PTA events as a way to improve your child’s experience and learning at school. Every little thing you do will make a big difference together.
